Message: 72449 Edgar: The basis for assuming that physical bodies were transported through space has this evidence: One: Adam and Eve had combustion bodies that were brought to this world on seraphic transport. P.828 - §1 Adam and Eve arrived on Urantia, from the year A.D. 1934, 37,848 years ago. It was in midseason when the Garden was in the height of bloom that they arrived. At high noon and unannounced, the two seraphic transports, accompanied by the Jerusem personnel intrusted with the transportation of the biologic uplifters to Urantia, settled slowly to the surface of the revolving planet in the vicinity of the temple of the Universal Father. All the work of rematerializing the bodies of Adam and Eve was carried on within the precincts of this newly created shrine. And from the time of their arrival ten days passed before they were re-created in dual human form for presentation as the world's new rulers. They regained consciousness simultaneously. The Material Sons and Daughters always serve together. It is the essence of their service at all times and in all places never to be separated. They are designed to work in pairs; seldom do they function alone. Two: P.431 - §2 The angels cannot transport combustion bodies-- flesh and blood--such as you now have, but they can transport all others, from the lowest morontia to the higher spirit forms. They do not function in the event of natural death. When you finish your earthly career, your body remains on this planet. You must be enseraphimed to be transported through space. P.430 - §7 The process of being enseraphimed is not unlike the experience of death or sleep except that there is an automatic time element in the transit slumber. Three: P.582 - §3 While there is this dematerializing technique for preparing the Adams for transit from Jerusem to the evolutionary worlds, there is no equivalent method for taking them away from such worlds unless the entire planet is to be emptied, in which event emergency installation of the dematerialization technique is made for the entire salvable population. If some physical catastrophe should doom the planetary residence of an evolving race, the Melchizedeks and the Life Carriers would install the technique of dematerialization for all survivors, and by seraphic transport these beings would be carried away to the new world prepared for their continuing existence. The evolution of a human race, once initiated on a world of space, must proceed quite independently of the physical survival of that planet, but during the evolutionary ages it is not otherwise intended that a Planetary Adam or Eve shall leave their chosen world. Please note that this technique is used for all survivors. There probably are many human beings who are not survivors, and are not taken away. |

My interpretation of these two possibilities you present of space travels is: - yes, that one of John and Paul can be interpreted as visions, and - those others of Enoch and others I can interpret as a transportation, not of the external part of their personality (material body), but of the inner part, as it were, the soul, where their beings where taken to the Cristal field; this working hypothesis is simpler than that other one of the material body... when you write... Enoch probably was describing the receiving stations for the various orders of beings who traverse space by seraphic transport. In this case, that station reserved for human mortals... I do not understand why you insist in our material aspect, I do not see the connection. We have an inner self with seven inner senses according to my working hypothesis, that for sure does not have the problem that material, physical energy has with the velocity of light. This is my great criticism to the material hypothesis. Please, I hate to be polemic, I hope this goes for the sake of truth. Even Paul was not sure how his experience was. 2 Cor 12:2-5: I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven - whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into Paradise - whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows - and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter.
