|Evidence for the Third Secret|
|I shall not engage in a detailed history of all the twists and turns of Vatican intrigue and deception, nor the complicity of Popes, Cardinals, Bishops and Priests in perverting God’s truth. It is a dark and forbidding episode in our slide to destruction. Brother Michael did an admirable job in recounting much of that history.||The fraudulent Third Secret published by Ratzinger and Bertone can be discounted on several grounds, not the least of which is their spiritual betrayal. For them it is a shell game, a contest for control over the minds of the faithful. They do not believe in Divine Revelations, nor do they respect God’s people. They see them only as masses to be manipulated.|
|The Single Sheet Evidence|
I cited the evidence from Bishop John Venancio who personally examined the
envelopes containing the single-page Third Secret he estimated at 26 lines.
At a press conference on February 11, 1967, Cardinal Ottaviani, who had read the Secret, confirmed that it was written on a single sheet of paper.
Cardinal Ratzinger himself earlier agreed that Lucy wrote the prophecy in 24(?) lines on a single page.
|When it came to stifling interest by a substitute fraud he and Bertone found themselves so severely restricted to a single-page text they could not carry their argument. No one would know the difference anyhow. They then decided to create whatever length was necessary to their purpose, which turned out to be four pages. An image of Lucy’s hand-written First and Second Secret, along with an image of the Ratzinger-Bertone document, is included on the Vatican web site.|
|The Forged Hand Writing|
Gary Wohlscheid of These Last
Days Ministry, PO Box 40, Lowell, MI 49331, asked Speckin Forensic
Laboratories, an international forensic firm specializing in forgeries and
handwriting (famous for the Jon Benet Ramsey case), to examine the Vatican
forgery. Speckin Labs employed Robert D. Kullman, Forensic Document Analyst, to perform the
examination. (Kullman enlisted in the Michigan State Police as a trooper in
1966. In 1972 he was transferred to the State Crime Laboratory where he began a
three-year training program as a document analyst. He served in that capacity
until 1988. He studied hand-writing and document forensic analysis at
Georgetown University, The U. S. Secret Service Laboratory, the Federal Bureau
of Investigation Laboratory, and Western Michigan University School of Paper
Technology. Between 1988 and 1998 he served as a private consultant. He
testified as an expert witness at more than 150 municipal, district, state, and
federal court trials.) He stated:
“It is my opinion, based on the documents examined, that the Questioned Document ‘Third Secret’ cannot be identified with the purported known writings of Sister Lucy.”
See the web site:
which contains photo comparisons between known writings of Lucia, and the document published by the Vatican as the hand-written Third Secret. The report to Wohlscheid may be found at:
Kullman’s credentials may be found at:
The considerable difference in the form of the handwriting between the first document and the Vatican Third Secret are obvious. Remember, the time between these documents supposedly was slightly more than two years. Lucy’s writing is cribbed, small and confined; the Vatican document is open and expansive. Lucy’s page does not have an address; the Vatican document does. Lucy’s documents do not carry a date; the Vatican document does. Ratzinger and Bertone tried to make the forgery appear more real by placing a date on it.
|The Dark Deception|
Ratzinger and Bertone settled on the attempted assassination of John Paul II
as an object for their deception. Many Catholic faithful believed a miraculous
hand had saved him; focusing on that episode would localize the Third Secret it
time, and give it a temporal definition. They could thus divert attention away
from destiny, and the ghost of a God who could intervene in and direct earthly
Consider some of the phrases:
'something similar to how people appear
in a mirror when they pass in front of it'
'a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father'.
These are not typical Lucy phraseologies. She would not write in this manner.
'Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious
going up a steep mountain. '
‘. . . at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark’
By such phrases the passage is reduced to temporal and mythological images that have nothing to do with divine destiny.
‘. . . the Holy Father passed through a
big city half in ruins.’
Now the concentration is on the Pope, and not upon the world.
‘. . . he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him.’
Bullets and arrows! These people are out of their minds. The shame that should be upon their heads. This one line in itself is enough to show the disrespect and contempt they have for God's people.
‘. . . various lay people of different ranks and positions.’
‘. . . two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.’
The entire “letter” is full of such nonsense. These men have no concept of heavenly visions, nor of divine judgments. I find it hard to believe they would try to foist such nonsense upon intelligent people. This shows the intellectual contempt they have for other human beings.
Please remember my assessment that the real Third Secret was not contained in the single-page document but was in the Notebooks.
|Lucy’s Remarks about the Last Days|
In an earlier paper I referred to an interview by the Mexican Priest Augustine Fuentes with Lucy on December 26, 1957. His publication raised a violent furor within the Church. The Diocese of Coimbra issued a vitriolic denial of its contents. He was removed from his appointment as Postulator for the cause of Jacinta and Francisco. Truth struck home.
Lucy’s remarks that many nations will disappear from the face of the earth, and that Russia will be the instrument of chastisement were sufficient to bring condemnation down upon the poor Father’s head. I showed how those announcements were supported in Biblical prophecy. Another remark reported by Fuentes was the following:
Father, the Most Holy Virgin did not (directly) tell me we were in the last times of the world, but she made me understand this for three reasons:
She told me that the devil is in the mood for engaging in a decisive battle against the Virgin. And a decisive battle is the final battle where one side will be victorious and the other side will suffer defeat. Hence from now on we must choose sides. Either we are for God or we are for the Devil. There is no other possibility.
Refer to my discussion about the Garabandal Apparitions and The Warning described by Conchita Gonzales. This shows that we cannot be godless, and somehow try to save the world, as do Ratzinger, Berdone, and all in the Catholic hierarchy who do not believe in the reality of a living God. This is the imminent
spiritual battle in which Cardinal will be against Cardinal, and Bishop against Bishop. Little do any of us recognize the magnitude of the spiritual contest now coming down upon us.
Suitable at this point are remarks about traditional and conventional minds, as contrasted with those of more cosmic insights. Ratzinger and Berdone are godless. On the other hand many Catholics profess a belief in God, adhere to Church rituals and customs, and otherwise display godliness. They believe they love God in their hearts. But they are unable to accept that God will destroy our civilization. Their lives and hopes are based on salvage of the present social order. They do not recognize its godlessness; they keep hoping for salvation.
Brother Michael, Father Nicholas Gruner, Georges de Nantes, and a host of others active on the WEB, in publications, and in forming their own cult groups, are of this breed. They fear cataclysms. They want God to save the world that is so familiar to them. They want the Church to go forward in the old traditional forms. Their assessments of revelation are colored by these attitudes.
If they would pay heed to revelation they would know that God is not salvaging this godless civilization. Did they never hear “I will create a New Heaven and a New Earth?”
In the coming trials a large majority of these people will be lost. They will not be able to reach destiny decisions.
Remarks by John Paul II
|In his Section on The False Secrets Brother Michael includes all of the material he considers spurious or apocryphal on the Third Secret, TWTAF, Vol III, page 642. As usual, he does a masterful job of assembling this information.||However, because of his traditional mind he denies the validity of that material. Consider first the remarks by John Paul II on a visit to Germany in 1980. I first show the remarks by Brother Michael.|
November, 1980: At Fulda, Did John Paul II reveal the Third Secret?
In the last twenty years, many reviews have echoed the sensational declarations concerning the Third Secret which Pope John Paul II is supposed to have made during his trip to Germany, in November of 1980.
The source of this information is an article in a little German review called Stimme des Glaubens, No. 10, October, 1981.
These are remarkable statements by the Pope, something Brother Michael believes should be discounted. John Paul II was repeating statements made in Neues Europa in 1963, thus confirming the content of that publication.
Refer to my following paper on the Third Secret.
The parallels are:
No statement could be more dramatic about the future of our world. Although John Paul II has the statements in reverse chronological order, they show the future of our world. Then his traditional apostate mind further conditions his response when he says:
“. . . it is really no longer the case that publication of such a secret message should be so strongly desired.”
Here he reserves to himself the judgment that his fellow men cannot handle the truth. If he permits them to know that truth they might come to more correct assessment of the state of the world and of the Church, and therefore change their minds about loyalty to him and to the Church. He is preserving the status quo. He is trying to quell ripples of thought that might upset the order of affairs on earth.
The Pope goes on to remark about the nature of the Third Secret, and the responsibility one must assume if one comes into knowledge of it. We can infer that publication of the Third Secret might have been desired at some previous time. But it is now too late. Too late for the Church and too late for mankind. By appeal to the Virgin Mary we might delay or defer the punishment coming upon mankind, but we cannot avoid it.
That the Pope would come to this overt remark is quite surprising . Clearly the true Third Secret is fraught with social, psychological, and religious problems. It is not a benign revelation. As Cardinal Tisserant said, the first two secrets are brief and pale in comparison with it.
When John Paul II was later questioned about this remark he tried to pass over its dramatic nature, which had caused intense speculation in the news media that this could be the result of a nuclear war. He then later scolded the press and told them to stop saying that the secret of Fatima predicts a nuclear war.
"No, All that I have said in Germany is the result of natural causes."
Bu the cat was out of the bag, and he could not put it back in again. He could only hope that most people would not pay attention. Which, apparently, they have.
But the shadow of apocalypse continued to haunt him:
During his first visit to Fatima in 1982 he stated at the Shrine:
"Spare us from nuclear war, from incalculable self-destruction, from every kind of war!"
In his visit to Fatima on May 13, 2000 he stated in his homily:
The message of Fatima is a call to conversion, alerting humanity to have nothing to do with the ‘dragon’ whose ‘tail swept a third of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth.’ (Rev. 12:4)
We can see how John Paul II made repeated allusions to apocalypse even though he did not openly support it. His remarks corresponds to one by Lucy in which she said:
“It’s [Third secret] in the Gospel and in the Apocalypse, read them!”
We don't truly need the Third Secret, when we have God's revelations.
In my previous papers I listed many of the passages. I shall repeat a few here, showing the flooding of the earth, and that fact that millions upon millions will die hour by hour.
And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found.
Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, "So shall Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and shall be found no more”
How Babylon is taken, the praise of the whole earth seized! How Babylon has become a horror among the nations! The sea has come up on Babylon; she is covered with its tumultuous waves.
The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, which fell on the earth; and a third of the earth was burnt up, and a third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
Behold, they are like stubble, the fire consumes them; they cannot deliver themselves from the power of the flame. No coal for warming oneself is this, no fire to sit before!
Even before the enigmatic date of 1960 many within the Church understood the nature of our days. Cardinal Cerejeira, Patriarch of Lisbon, on April 24, 1959 said:
“It is an apocalyptic hour for the world. These are frightening winds from hell which are blowing, and the elect themselves are allowing themselves to be carried away.”
John Paul II stated clearly his expectations of our judgment hour:
Unfortunately John Paul II did not reach to the heights of understanding to know that the Church, so dearly beloved by so many Catholics, will also be destroyed in the coming renewal of the earth. Such statement is based strictly on sentimental attachment.
