Note the the four cavities or "basins" on the bottom of the craft.  The "basins" are symmetrically spaced around the perimeter of the craft, as in Swift's description. The timing of the sequence can be seen from the waves rolling in along the shore line.  The disk is in acrobatics through the sequence, and then moving away from the photographer in the last shot.
