Arturo was born in México city on October 26, 1945. His schooling included four years with the Modern American School and two years with the Pan American Work Shop. He attended middle school at Mexico City's Vocational # 7, and an additional three years at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional. He studied two years at the Instituto Radio Técnico de México.
He worked twelve years in the publicity department of the Brystol Meyers Corporation, México City. From there he spent eight years as a lighting system project engineer for the Lightolier company. He also had five years in the Quality Control Department of Técnicos Argostal. He did installation and sales of high precision computer equipment to check quality control in the manufacturing process of motor cars.
He has thirty-five years of photographic experience, and has worked as a Professional Architectectonic Photographer for ten years.
Over the past five years he has pursued photographic investigation of anomalous sky phenomena, in close collaboration with Jaime Maussan. He has participated in more than one hundred and fifty radio talk shows, and more than fifty TV events on different Channels in Mexico City. He appeared on the Miami (USA) Christian Saralegui TV program.
He has been married for twenty-six years. He has no children. He has one older brother and one sister. |
