A quintuplet set, one of many appearing around that time, was found below Cradle Hill, Seaford near Alfreston, West Sussex, on the 7th July, 1984.
This is one of a handful of photographs that exists of this formation.  One was sent to Colin Andrews by The Deputy Prime Minister, The Right Honorable Sir Denis Healey. He lived in the vicinity of the cirle.
Sir Denis said that his wife had seen a bright red light over this area, from their nearby home.

Mrs. Barbara Hall, the farmers wife at Corhampton Lane Farm, Corhampton, Hampshire was out riding her horse during the first week in August, 1984, when she came across a single circle swirled into her husband's wheat field at grid reference: SU 590 204.  It measured approximately 40 feet in diameter and was swirled in a clockwise direction.  She went home, gathered her camera and took this photograph showing her son.
The Hall's saw another two formations on their farm, these to the north during 1987 and 1988.  Others in the area also nearby appeared during 1990 and 1995.
